Update 0.6.21 of the HD Satelit image

2 November 2026

Version 0.6.21 comes from the menu, under Software update, without a USB stick, on the same receivers as 0.6.20: Amiko Viper 4K V20 and V30 with image 0.6.0 or a later update, the first Viper 4K V10 with image 0.6.6, 0.6.8 or 0.6.11, the Octagon SF8008 with image 0.6.8, 0.6.11 or 0.6.13, the SF8008 MINI with image 0.6.13 and all six receivers with the complete 0.6.19 image from the site, the Amiko Viper 4K V40 included.

The channel list now shows each channel's source on the right, Satellite, Cable or Terrestrial, and a “$” sign on scrambled channels. You can turn off both or just one in OSD Preferences, under “Channel list marks”. The receiver learns that a channel is scrambled after a new channel scan or once you have watched it, so at first the “$” shows on only some of the scrambled channels.

When you ask for remote assistance, the team sees which receiver asks for help, through a fingerprint of the board that does not reveal the MAC address or the serial number, and if you are a beta tester, also the name given at sign-up. The team can also read the receiver's system files, such as the tuners, the board, the memory and the logs; passwords, secrets, your data and the access modules stay closed, and the assistance log shows you every file read.

Before the first change, the assistance makes a copy of the settings. With the Blue button on the assistance screen or from the web interface you put them back as they were: the receiver restarts and the assistance goes on. Plugins installed meanwhile are not removed by it.

Ukrainian can now be chosen from the menu language list, on the TV and in the web interface.

The source code of version 0.6.21 is public.
