Update 0.6.19 of the HD Satelit image
1 November 2026

Amiko Viper 4K V20 and V30 receivers with HD Satelit image 0.6.0 or a later update, the first Amiko Viper 4K V10 with image 0.6.6 and the Octagon SF8008 and SF8008 MINI with image 0.6.13 get version 0.6.19 from the menu, under Software update, without a USB stick.
Satellite blind scan (Menu > Channel scan > Satellite > Blind scan): the receiver finds by itself the transponders on the satellite the dish points at, including those missing from the list. You choose the band, the polarisations and the search step: 1 is the fastest, 3 the safest. The transponders found are then scanned for channels with one button, and you can start the same search from the web interface. For now it works on the Amiko Viper 4K V20; the other receivers get it later.
Abertis streams on 30°W: all 38 are now in the receiver's list, with the channel names, in a bouquet of their own, and the satellite scan finds them by itself.
On the Octagon SF8008 Supreme with the 2024 board the interface no longer freezes at start. On the combined DVB-T2 and DVB-C tuner the DVB-T2 channels found now also play. The Octagon also gets the image's new theme with this update.
From your home network you log in to the receiver without a password, over SSH, SFTP, FTP and Telnet; from outside only with a key. The Dish rotation screen no longer closes on the arrow keys or when stopping. In remote assistance the team now also sees the channel list, to help you faster with bouquets and scanning.
The source code of version 0.6.19 is public.
