Update 0.6.13 of the HD Satelit image

30 October 2026

Amiko Viper 4K V20 and V30 receivers with the HD Satelit 0.6.0 image or a later update get version 0.6.13 from the menu, in Software update, without a USB stick. The first Amiko Viper 4K V10 gets it the same way, as its fifth update. The Octagon SF8008 and SF8008 MINI with the 0.6.13 image also get, from the menu, as their first update, the same assistance news and the board readings in the background.

At the end of remote assistance, the team leaves on your receiver what it found and what it did, in a window that stays until you press OK and shows once more when the assistance ends, with our thanks. Read it again at any time from Menu > Settings > Remote assistance, with the Yellow key, and in the web interface, on the assistance page. The team's short messages now stay on screen for at least 30 seconds and come one after another.

Remote assistance is now for everyone, not only for testers: its row is in Menu > Settings, under Beta tester. The page has the ticked row "I accept the terms and conditions" and Start; the code is no longer shown.

On a new receiver, the first satellite tuner comes set up for your country, so you can scan right away (in Romania Thor 0.8°W and 19.2°E); what you set yourself stays. The interface no longer freezes while reading board information (sound, HDMI, picture, processor), as it did on the Octagon SF8008: the readings run in the background. The full list is in the changelog.

The source code of version 0.6.13 is public.
