Update 0.6.12 of the HD Satelit image

29 October 2026

Receivers with HD Satelit image 0.6.0 or a later update get version 0.6.12 from the menu, under Software update, without a USB stick. The first Amiko Viper 4K V10 gets it the same way, as its fourth update.

DVB-T2 terrestrial reception: the scan now finds DVB-T2 multiplexes, with their PLP, and the channel bar and information show DVB-T2. If you have a terrestrial antenna, rescan terrestrial once. On the combined DVB-T2 and DVB-C tuner you choose in Tuner setup what is connected, antenna or cable, and see the matching settings; the same in the web interface.

You turn remote assistance on for 2 hours, 12 hours, one day, one week, one month or permanently, and turn it off at any time, on the receiver or in the web interface. Your request reaches us by itself, and when you start it you can say briefly what you need help with.

When the beta testers' Privacy notice changes, the receiver tells you by itself, and Accept turns sending back on, with your choices so far. The notice on the site now also says what the logs keep about a channel that does not work and what data reaches us from remote assistance.

The source code of version 0.6.12 is public.
